Incandescent bulbs with SCC/BA15S single contact base, single axial filament and power outputs 24W and above. Head or spot lamp application. 38mm globe diameter with 15mm cap diameter. Equal locating pins on cap. Available in a range of input voltages and power outputs for cars and commercial vehicles. Single filament with a single contact base earths through the bulb cap. Axial and V filaments produce a narrower spread of light, Transverse filaments produce a broader spread. Axial filaments were originally recommended for Lucas 'Difusa' or clear vintage headlamp glass. 'V' filament bulbs were recommended for flat/domed fluted lamp glasses (e.g. Lucas 'U' Flute lenses) but they are now harder to find.
