12V double filament HALOGEN bulb rated at 60/55W. 15mm diameter glass tube with black cap, 40mm glass tube height, total bulb height 63mm. BA21D double contact, 3 pin 'Marchal' type base. Headlamp application. A twin filament bulb with filament shield for dip beam and unshielded mainbeam - offering the performance of the modern H4 60/55w type bulb on the BA21D, 'Marchal' type base! Manufactured by Classic Bulbs in response to demand for a high performance halogen bulb alternative to incandescent bulbs. When fitting this bulb please ensure that the bulb holder interior is clean and clear of any debris (rust or corrosion). Also check the contact spring is free and does not need excessive pressure to compress when fitting the bulb. Do not touch the glass with bare skin, please wear gloves or use a cotton cloth when fitting, grease or oils from the skin will cause the bulb to blow when turned on or after a short while. Please fit by holding the top of the cap/base, not the glass! do not apply significant twisting force to the glass relative to the cap/base!
