High performance CSP 1860 LED upgrade for American Pre Focus headlamp bulbs with the P15D 30 base. Integral aluminium heatsink. Accepts 11 to 60 V input voltage - optimised for 12V, negative OR positive earth systems. High and low beam - 1600 Lumen high beam, 1600 Lumen low beam - with a soft beam pattern. In testing, much brighter (LUX measurement at fixed distance) than BA5600 (50/45W).
The LED layout and inclusion of a low beam filament shield on this lamp means makes this a dipping bulb in the syle of some Marchal, Bosch and later British Pre-focus bulbs, with a hemispherical shield under the dipped beam filament (never available on the original, incandescent American pre focus bulbs)
In testing, this LED lamp produced a great high and low beam pattern and without an intengral lens, can be used in any style of lamp, with or without a tripod arrangement.
Very low current draw - over 75% less than incandescent and halogen bulbs so great for low powered, vintage electrical systems. 4300K classic, white colour temperature. This bulb is a great LED alternative to a number of 12V APF bulbs including B5677 (35/35W), B5679 (45/40W) and BA5600 (50/45W). Body made from aviation grade aluminium. As noted above, these bulbs don't have an integral lens, so can be used in tripod type lamps. 60mm total bulb height. 25mm max heat sink diameter, 15mm cap diameter.
